Friday Fun with Doctor Who and Rory

Okay, just so you know, Amy bugs me, but I LOVE Rory. Can’t really say why other than he’s your average guy with a heart of gold.

  1. I love Rory too. In fact, I love stories of "type B" guys who find their own kind of strength in difficult circumstances. I find that 100x more believable than some jerky alpha-male magically becoming tamed and kind.

  2. OMG I'm in love with Rory too. I was so sad when he got erased from existence and then they brought him back as a Roman! But it was still my Rory. I just want to squeeze him.I read that they might kill both Amy and Rory in an upcoming episode to bid goodbye to those characters. I'm on pins and needles. Please NO!

  3. Oh yes, I can't wait to see the back of Amy Pond. The sad part is Rory has to go too. I hope the new assistant isn't used as eye candy.

  4. Yes, Amy and Rory are leaving before the end of the next season. I'm sure you'll be glad to see the back of her (but I like her, so I'll be sad).

  5. Amen to that! Along those same lines, I love a good feminine character too. They don't always have to be Katniss type girls to keep my interest, but that seems to be the trend.

  6. Same here.Donna was my other favorite companion. I loved that she wasn't in love with the Doctor. She just loved the adventure of it all.

  7. She's had some moments, and I honestly can't say what it is that bugs me. Maybe its that the stories all seem to revolve around her, not the Doctor.

  8. I LOVED when he came back as a Roman! My other favorite episode with him was when there were two Amy's (one young, one older) and he tried to save both of them.

  9. You no like Amy? 😦 I've actually been thinking lately about scrounging up the really old seasons of Doctor Who. From like 40 years ago.
